Flexible boots are best for connecting a ball valve, UV,circulating pump etc so can be easily removal - flexi - rubber connectors can be used again.

These flexible fittings are extremely versatile and suitable for metric to metric, imperial to imperial, metric to imperial and also some non-standard pipework connections.
